While Oracle provides a wide array oftools for use with the Oracle database, the popularity of Oracle andthe need for specific capabilities has given rise to a variety oftools from third-party vendors. These tools range from usefulutilities distributed at no charge by Oracle user groups tofull-featured, integrated management tools costing tens of thousandsof dollars. A listing of these tools is beyond the scope of thisbook, but timely information on Oracle-related vendors and theirproducts is often available at local user group meetings, as well asat the larger Oracle OpenWorld and user group conferences andtradeshows.
