有一封菲律宾少年给世界的信件（A letter from a teenage Filipino to the WHOLE WORLD），算作该国公民对我国香港游客被屠杀时间的反应。
笔者认为，这封信是不可接受的。兹以一个中国网民的身份，回答如下：
什么叫“世界上没有人希望发生那样的事情”？难道我国香港的游客是被野兽吃掉的，而非被一个菲律宾人，一个菲律宾警察所杀？难道他不是人？我们说这个世界上至少有一个人希望发生那样的事情。甚至不止一个，那些本该挺身而出保卫游客的菲律宾司机、导游等人，都放任了屠杀。甚至那个司机以及凶手的弟弟，似乎都不能排除同谋的嫌疑。怎么会是没有人希望发生那样的事情，他们不都希望并且努力地使事件超此方向发展了吗？
我国有一位伟大的思想家鲁迅先生，他在遗嘱中告诫我们：“损着别人的牙眼,却反对报复,主张宽容的人,万勿和他接近。”因为那是世界上最阴毒的小人。而此信作者的想法和那种小人不相伯仲。不是吗，杀人了，却说没有人愿意杀人！好像真有一只鬼附了谁的身体一样。
菲律宾或者“民族坚强卓越”，“风景秀美”，但这绝不是你们可以屠杀我国游客的理由。
菲律宾或者“面临着无数的难题”，但这也绝不成为在你们查清事件真相，惩办渎职者并真诚道歉前原谅你们的理由。
我很疑惑，为什么受害者明明是中国香港的公民。你却要给世界写信。你想通过世界来实现什么？你想拉世界做什么？
我很鄙夷你文末的说法，“这一次让我们站在一起不放下任何人，拥护生命，拥护爱。”仿佛你写此信的诱因，不是很多中国香港游客在菲律宾首都被杀，而是一个菲律宾志愿者在中国创造了爱的人间奇迹一样。
甚矣！汝之不惠！甚矣！汝之不仁！

What did you mean by“No one in this world would want something like that to happen”？Did the HK tourists die from being eaten by beasts somehow instead of being killed by a philipino, in other word a policeman of philipine nation?In our view,there is at least one person who wants such crime to happen,maybe even more people have such an idea，those philipino drivers and tour guides who should have stand out and protect the tourists all watched this massacre with folded arms.Seriously speaking,the driver and his brother,both of them can't get rid of the suspect that they took part in this crime.How can you say"No one in this world would want something like that to happen"?The fact is that all the philipinos mentioned above had made their efforts to turn the case into a miserable one!

Maybe Philipine is "a strong and extraodinary nation"or"rich in beautiful scenery".But in no occation can this be the reason why you philipinos killed CHINESE tourists.
Maybe Philipine is faced with "countless troubles",but it can't be the excuse and you won't get chinese people's forgiveness until you make out the case and punish those officers who ignore their responsibilities.
I wonder that you write to the whole world while the victims are from HK,Chinese.What do you mean to do with the whole world's power?Why do you involve all the people in the world into the case?
As a chinese citizen,I look down on your words at the end of your article,"And we all stand together this one time then no one will get left behind. Stand up for life."Your article pretends to be that a philipino volunteer has created a miracle of "LOVE" and the fact that chinese tourists were killed in Philipine seems not to exist at all.

文末附来信中文译本如下：
当你读到这封信的时候，我打赌你一定听说了最近发生在我们国家的事情。
一群游客被一个叫门多萨的警察挟持为人质。这种可怕的行为持续了几个小时后，几名游客被杀害，挟持人质者也被打死。
我写这封信的目的不仅仅是为了道歉，同时也是想让每个人都知道，我们菲律宾人不都像门多萨那样。我们是心中有爱的好心人。
很多年以来，我们的国家在大大小小的困难面前都有卓越的表现。几年之前（当我还没有出生的时候），你们看到了我们为自己认为正确的东西而抗争。
我们为我们国家的民主而斗争，EDSA革命。但这只是其中之一。
第二，我们菲律宾人为了家庭服务于其他的国家，就像对到自己的家人一样。恕我直言，我感谢你们多年来对我们的信任，帮助我们成为如今的我们。
菲律宾不只是一些岛屿，我们的民族坚强卓越，我们的国家风景秀美人民热情好客坚守信仰。
我为今晚发生的事诚挚道歉，世界上没有人希望发生那样的事情，因为生命必须被尊重。
我礼貌的请求全世界注意，请不要只因为今晚发生的事情评判和误解我们。
我已经在网络上搜索并且发现了可怕的事情，香港抵制来菲律宾旅游，中国和香港对菲律宾发出禁令指出菲律宾是最不应该去的地方。
我不能指责你们的决定但我希望你们理解，我们的国家面临着无数的难题，我也知道我们会为你们提供这样或那样的帮助。让和平与理解流传吧。
我知道这封信也只会被丢弃，但我希望你们的理解。我代表所有菲律宾人说，对不起。就像一首歌唱的那样。
我相信有生之年我会看到绝望、放弃和痛苦的尽头，这一次让我们站在一起不放下任何人，拥护生命，拥护爱。（具名略）
