In their last release, "My Pride", Metro thrilled audiences by singing a mixture of English and Cantonese. For their rendition of "Under a Vast Sky", they not only had to cope with the challenge of performing the entire song in Cantonese, but also with expressing the deep emotions and tragic events that surround the song. Tenor Kevin Thornton says, "It's difficult to express our emotions but we can think of no other way to better honor Wong Ka Kui and Beyond." Eric Monson, who arranged the song says, "Everyone in Hong Kong knows this song.
