Dalai Lama's envoys arrive for talks  Two envoys of the Dalai Lama are expected to visit Beijing to meet with the central government, an official told the Global Times Tuesday.

The envoys arrived in Hunan Province Tuesday, and were expected to be in Beijing "very soon" for talks, said an official with the United Front Work Department of the CPC's Central Committee, who declined to be named.

It will be the first meeting since November 2008, when the central government met two private representatives of the Dalai Lama.

The central government reiterated at the time it would not compromise on its position that Tibet is an integral part of China, but said it would keep open the door for future discussions despite "serious divergences" between the two sides.

The new discussions are expected to last several days and will cover issues not fully addressed in the previous meeting, the official said without elaborating.

The relevant agencies of the central government will hold a news conference early next month to discuss the meeting, the official added.

The nation Tuesday urged the Dalai Lama to "cherish" the opportunity for fresh talks.

At the request of the Dalai Lama, the relevant agencies of the central government arranged for the private representatives of the Dalai Lama to visit Beijing and have consultations, foreign ministry spokesman Ma Zhaoxu said.

"We hope the Dalai Lama will cherish this opportunity and respond positively to the requests by the central government," he added, declining to answer further questions on the matter.

The Dalai Lama's spokesman, Tenzin Taklha, said Monday that discussion would include envoys Lodi G. Gyari and Kelsang Gyaltsen, who are part of an "important process of trying to find a mutually agreed solution."

The new talks will be the 10th in a string of meetings between the two sides since 2002. The central government has repeated demands that the Dalai Lama renounce his "separatist" activities.

Source: Xinhua Dalai clique's new tricks to separate China The 14th Dalai Lama has made panic trips one after another overseas since early 2008. During these trips, he not only begged leaders and other dignitaries on foreign land to receive him but also plotted to meet with rioters overseas and incite them to work with the pro-Tibetan Independence activists to set up the so-called "Han Chinese-Tibetan Friendship Association". What a trash this self-styled amity "Association"is !

The notorious "Han Chinese-Tibetan Friendship Association" was originally proposed by some anti-China activists in the United States a full decade ago, who announced their readiness in preparation to set up the "Association" in accordance with Dalai's intention.

However, the Dalai Lama did not show any slight interest in the idea until 2008 when he was subjected to unanimous denunciations and rebuttals by Overseas Chinese and Chinese students worldwide in the wake of the infamy March 14 riot of 2008 in Lhasa, the capital of China's Tibet Autonomous Region, and a series of violent incidents targeting the torch relay of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Dalai felt extremely grieved and was very much concerned with staunch, fierce objection by so many Overseas Chinese and fellow citizens residing abroad.

On June 2008, Dalai urged some anti-China activists in Australia to speed up the formation of a "Han Chinese-Tibetan Friendship Association"during his visit to the country, and voiced his backing for the founding of such an association in New York a month later. In August of the same year, he again in Geneva, Switzerland demanded that a "Han Chinese-Tibetan Friendship Association"be set up in all places where there were Han Chinese and Tibetans.

With very clear-cut and explicit "instructions" of the Dalai Lama, his clique formed a special work team to respond and work with overseas Anti-China activists to set up as many such associations as possible. So, rioters responded and espoused this move of the Dalai Lama's as a "wise political measure" beyond any doubt.
After a year of trouble making, a couple of "Associations" appeared, but they were represented entirely by the mainstay of local "liaison" of contact officers of the Dalai clique and a number of veteran anti-China activists overseas. One seasoned rioter directed and manipulated three inaugural functions of three sub-associations, and proclaimed himself as their leader. So, no matter what signs these notorious political swindlers from overseas Chinese communities have put up, they represent neither Tibetans nor Han people, but only represent themselves.

The Dalai Lama's basic purpose in establishing the so-called "Han People-Tibetan Friendship Association" is to undermine the ethnic unity and to topple the Communist Party (CPC) and the Chinese government. At a "Tibet-Chinese Conference" held in a European country in August 2008, some anti-China elements and the "pro-Tibetan Independence" activists claimed that their aim for setting up the "Association" was precisely to take the advantage of general mutual sympathy and support overseas, so as to cooperate to "defy the so-called "suppression of Chinese Communists".

Afterwards, a group of anti-China elements or activists in Australia told visiting Dalai Lama on Dec. 2 last year that "the Chinese government is the common adversary of the Tibetans, the Han people, the ethnic Uyghurs and the Hui people. On Dec. 10, another group of the "Association" members gathered a crowd in front of the Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles to make trouble and raised a hue and cry and made a big noise to allege that "all ethnic groups should unit to fight against CPC.

The Dalai clique is so crazy and has gone mad about the establishment of the "Han Chinese-Tibetan Friendship Association" simply for the reason that it attempted to use it as an accomplice in its vain attempt to separate China. As is known to all, the Dalai clique has still refused to recognize Tibet as part of Chinese territory to date.

"I consider myself a Son of India," said the Dalai Lama on Nov. 22, 2008, as he asserted that he had subsisted on Indian food for the last 50 years. Then, people would very much like to ask: Why should Dalai meddle in China's Tibetan affairs since he is a "Son of India", and how is he entitled to go in for the "Han People-Tibetan Friendship Association"?

"Make trouble, fail, make trouble again, fail again… till their doom, that is the logic of … all reactionaries the world over…" late Chinese leader Chairman Mao Zedong once said. And this logic would also guide the fate of the "Han people-Tibetan Friendship Association" and the ilk.
