we believe that this is an effort by a counterfeit company Parkford
Development Limited is operated by a Mr Chan Kwan
Wang(陳均宏)who was employed by our Sole agent Le Chainon Limited as
Sales Manager from 2001 to May 2006 and was dismissed due to his
involvement with Parkford in distribution of Fake Doulton products. It
was discovered that Chan has registered trademark (丹顿) in HK
his wife (李倩) had registered all Doulton trademark in China. At the moment we have filed an objection to the
authorities and the case is on going.
Fake authorization letter were used by Parkford through out China to
unsuspected customers (Att- 8). Fairey Industrial Ceramics Limited has
never appointed Parkford Development Limited as a distributor,
manufacturer, wholesaler, or otherwise authorized Parkford Development
Limited to use any of the trade marks owned by Royal Doulton (UK)
Limited anywhere in the world, whether in respect of the genuine
DOULTON water filter cartridges and filters or otherwise (Att - .
Last year, acting on complaints HK Customs and Excise Dept confiscated
suspected fake Doulton products from Parkford’s Wanchai shop and the
court had found they are indeed counterfeit Doulton products.
Parkford’s shop in Wanchai has since been closed down.
Le Chainon Limited has been appointed by Fairey Industrial Ceramics
Limited as its sole distributor in of Doulton filtration products in
Hong Kong and China since 1997 and remains the sole distributor in
these territories to this day. Dongguan Fairey Trading Limited is the
branch of Le Chainon Limited in China.Due to the uncertainty of the ultimate owner of the disputed
trademarks we have taken steps to use our other registered
Doulton/Fairey trademarks in the Asia region while the dispute in on
going. We hereby would like to confirm to you that Doulton filtration
products are British products and is 100% made in England. Please
