继8月4日发表了“祖国” 观的微博，朱孝天又随后发出了三条微博。8月8日凌晨最新的一条微博是这样写的：“小时候在台湾被叫外省人，不会说台语会被排挤。在新加坡念书时被叫台湾仔，在美国我是chinese，在内地变成台胞。我希望在我有生之年可以知道我究竟属于哪里。我纳闷的是为甚么我不能同时热爱两地。我真的没有政治立场，有政治立场就不会敢写出这些东西。我写的不是政治，我写的，是我的乡愁...”。
想当年，鲁迅曾经“彷徨”过，他的“彷徨”，是为了中国人、中国的出路和前途在哪里，并且在苦闷在挣扎中，去寻找去探索。现如今，朱孝天亦近乎于“彷徨”，为的是台湾人与中国人之“彷徨”。
是彷徨吗？对于朱孝天本人，是台湾人是中国人，应该是并不彷徨的，这在“祖国”之言中可以体会到。让他彷徨的是，小时候在台湾被叫外省人，长大了外出时面临不同的称谓；让他彷徨的是，不能自由地表达心中的所思所想，就像因为“祖国” 二字引发了台湾亲绿网民的谩骂。
生在台湾、长在台湾、居住在台湾，自然是可以称作台湾人的；身为中华儿女、华夏子孙、龙的传人，自然是同属于中国人的。更何况海峡两岸属于一个中国，这是几千年历史的表白，这是国际社会普遍的共识。台湾人与中国人，两者之间有其一致性，一样的血，一样的根，已经为此打上了深深的烙印。
只是多灾多难的台湾，曾经数度被试图割裂。外来侵略势力的强权统治，制造了妄想霸占台湾的罪孽；国共内战的历史误会，一度让同宗同源的亲人分隔两岸；陈水扁执政时期积极地推动“去中国化”，想要让台湾找不到追本溯源的路。一段历史的错误，一时平添了几许迷茫。现在可叹，不少的台湾人，压抑着放声流露乡愁的冲动，更不用说直言讲出“祖国”了。
相信许许多多的台湾人，都有着认祖归宗的观念。就连民进党人照样频频登陆，其中不乏到大陆寻宗问祖的。相同的文化，相同的传承，是不能更改，不可磨灭的。既然这是事实的存在，又何必要讳言呢，或许这里正是值得众多的台湾人思考的地方。
不要问我从哪里来，我的故乡在远方。一首台湾歌手演绎的《橄榄树》，一字一句拨动了多少人的心弦。
朱孝天的微博，只所以会引起热议甚至论战，原因大概就在于目前的台湾由于先前“去中国化”之类的压制，敢于大声地直白地讲出自己心中想法的人还太少，以至让他打开了一扇不是“天窗”的“天窗”。不久前台湾作家李敖的儿子李戡，高调宣布自己弃台湾大学而就学北京大学，并坦言自己“没有被洗脑成功”、“不是为反叛而反叛，是为了真理在努力”，证明又是一个敢于大声地直白地讲出自己心中想法的人。这样的人，正是果敢地走在前面的人。要是如此这般，有更多的人站出来打开“天窗”说亮话，那么困扰于许多人的内心的彷徨自然是会渐趋于消弭的。
