第一款工具可以关注Twitter网站上某个词条随时间推移的受欢迎程度的变化，甚至可以“重播”带有该词条的Twitter信息。
在Google输入某个词条后，点击“显示选项”链接，选择“更新”，用户即可看到实时Twitter信息。在搜索结果上方可以显示一个时间轴，表明用户所搜索的词条在Twitter上的出现频率。用户拖动该时间轴即可看到该词条在不同时间段的出现频率。用户可以将时间轴限定在某一年，某个月，或者某个24小时时间段。
谷歌已推出该Twitter工具的测试页面。测评人士称，这款工具比Twitter的搜索工具更为清洁，体验更加容易。
谷歌推出的第二款Twitter工具叫做“Google Follow Finder”，是一个典型的寻找关注者的Twitter工具。输入Twitter用户名并点击提交之后，用户可以看到两栏Twitter用户。
一栏是“你或许喜欢的Twitter用户”，另外一栏是“拥有类似关注者的Twitter用户”。测评人士指出，谷歌这款工具提供的推荐列表并不足以吸引用户，或者推荐的是用户已经关注的人。
