湖南师范大学外语学院本科毕业论文写作与指导方案

一、毕业论文的选题原则
1 ．选题应符合专业培养目标，体现学科、专业特点和教学计划的基本要求，达到毕业论文综合训练的目的。
2 ．选题应符合本学科的理论发展，有一定的学术意义；课题应尽量结合社会实际和教学实际，选择能综合反映本专业的基本理论、基础知识和基本技能、具有一定研究价值和实际价值的课题。
3 ．选题应规模恰当，难易度适中，有一定的科学性。选题不仅能反映学生对所学知识的基本掌握与应用，而且能体现学生对所学知识的进一步深化与提高，使学生在撰写论文的过程中逐步掌握科学的研究方法。
4 ．学生可选择跨系或文理结合的课题，但应提出中请报告，由系领导根据课题的研究方向和内容对其可行性进行审批。
二、毕业论文的要求
1 ．毕业论文应用英语写作，字数为5000 一6000 个单词。
2 ．毕业论文撰写应通过选题、初稿、修改稿和定稿的写作过程。
3 ．毕业论文应独立完成，可参考他人研究成果，但必须注明出处，不得抄袭，更不能从网上下载。对抄袭、拼凑、下载的论文一律以零分计。
4 ．毕业论文应符合学术论文的基本要求。论文的格式和各种资料的引用以《 MLA 科研论文写作规范》为标准。
5 ．毕业论文应包括（1 ）封面（2 ）论文目录（3 ）中英文摘要及关键词（4 ）前言（5 ) 论文本体（6 ）结束语（7 ）注释和参考书目。（详见附录一）
6 ．论文用电脑打印，并装订成册。
7 ．所有论文都应进行答辩。
三、毕业论文指导教师职责
指导教师应由讲师以上（含讲师）职称、在教学和科研上有较丰富经验、认真负责的老师担任。每位指导教师指导的学生一般不能超过十人。指导教师的职责如下：
1 ．负责指导学生选题，与学生一起认真做好选题的可行性论证，指导学生制定写作提纲，确定写作步骤，安排计划进度，完成开题报告。
2 ．指导学生研究课题，给学生提供参考资料和相关文献。
3 ．耐心指导学生，对学生的论文质量严格把关，并对所指导的毕业论文的质量及撰写情况作出评定。
4 ．严格把握论文答辩质量，对答辩中确实没有达到要求的学生进行第二次答辩，如果还没有达到要求，则不予通过。
四、毕业论文的时间安排
1 ．第七学期初教育实习结束后的第一周开设以“怎样撰写毕业论文”为主题的专题讲座（包括：语言学、教学法、文学、翻译、经贸方同）；同时，对学生进行文献检索、论文写作规范的培训。
2 ．十月份学生确定选题，并分配好指导教师。
3 ．十一月份学生向指导教师提交较为详细的论文提纲，完成开题报告。
4 ．十二月份至下年二月份学生在老师的指导下进行论文初稿的撰写。
5 ．二月底学生向指导教师提交初稿。
6 ．三月份学生在教师的指导下进行论文的修改。
7 ．四月初学生向指导教师提交第二稿。
8 ．四月份的第三周学生向指导教师提交最终定稿。
9 ．四月底对合格的论文进行答辩。
10 ．五月份的第二周对第一次没有通过答辩的论文进行第二次答辩。

六、其他
1 ．经有关专家鉴定，对有较高学术价值或实用价值的毕业论文，给予一定的奖励，并推荐到有关刊物上发表。
2 ．对优秀毕业论文存档并编印成册。
附录一
湖南师范大学外语学院本科毕业论文格式要求
1 ．封面
封面内容包括：论文的中文题目、作者姓名、院系、专业、指导教师姓名以及完成论文的时间。
2 ．论文目录
3 ．摘要
中、英文摘要各300 字左右，关键词三至五个。摘要应精练，准确地概括全文中心。
4 ．论文本体
论文结构以多级标题形成，例如：

② 英语用Times New Roman 字体，中文用宋体。一级标题用小三号字加粗，二级标题用四号字加粗，正文用四号字，行距为26 磅，页码设置居中。
③ 论文正文部分：
( 1 )Topic ：三号字，加粗，居中
( 2 ) Abstract ：四号字，加粗，与顶格低四个字节，以冒号与内容分开。摘要内容接冒号后，用小四号字，附中文摘要，用小四号宋体。
( 3 ) Key words ：四号字，加粗，与顶格低四个字节，以冒号与内容分开。关键词接冒号后，用小四号字，以逗号分开。
( 4 ) Introduction 及Chapter 1 等标题：标题本身用小三号字，加粗，顶格。内容另起一行，低四个字符。

Grading
A : 90 --100 points

4 . The paper displays an adequate ability to use English appropriately .
B : 80 --89 points

3 . The language 15 readable. There are , however , occasional errors of vocabulary , spelling , punctuation or syntax .

1 . The paper demonstrates an inadequate organizational structure .
