# ]2 p' ]4 S- L* P! G; {个人感觉这个是比US NEWS排名好的多的排名, 而且非常有参考价值,不是大一统的从高到低的排名,而能够很清晰地区分开各个层次的学校,这个则是US NEWS排名所不能实现的,这样为选择学校提供了很好的策略。排名是亚利桑那州立大学(ASU)的The Center for Measuring University Performance每年做的,目前只有2007年版的。
/ e# f& _( F) I2 `& Q: z这个排名是根据9个指标排出的TOP 50 American Research Universities(Private & Public),也就说这9个指标中有任何一个能排在前50名的学校都能上榜,如果指标越多能上榜,就说明学校越好。( s8 L8 r. ^1 M

以上的表格可以很明显的看出各个不同层次的学校,所以能够很好的规划出不同层次的学校,而不是从100多个学校的排名中任意选择学校,这样会大大提高录取的几率和减少多余的申请花费,也就是根据自己的能力,在适当的层次中选择一到两所学校,因为同一层次的学校的招生标准很相近,举个亲身经历,我同时申请了以上排名中同样都是只有一个指标排名列为全国TOP 26-50的学校的University of Massachusetts -Amherst和University of Oregon,前者给的是AD,后者给的是OFFER,可见这个排名还是有可靠性的,最重要的就是很清晰的区分开各个层次的学校,而这个是US NEWS排名所不能实现的。 2 D& R9 q/ X/ X+ z* E I5 ]

以上的表格可以很明显的看出各个不同层次的学校,所以能够很好的规划出不同层次的学校,而不是从100多个学校的排名中任意选择学校,这样会大大提高录取的几率和减少多余的申请花费,也就是根据自己的能力,在适当的层次中选择一到两所学校,因为同一层次的学校的招生标准很相近,举个亲身经历,我同时申请了以上排名中同样都是只有一个指标排名列为全国TOP 26-50的学校的University of Massachusetts -Amherst和University of Oregon,前者给的是AD,后者给的是OFFER,可见这个排名还是有可靠性的,最重要的就是很清晰的区分开各个层次的学校,而这个是US NEWS排名所不能实现的。 2 D& R9 q/ X/ X+ z* E I5 ]
