After a three-day India visit, U. S. President Barack Obama left New Delhi Tuesday morning for Indonesia which is the second leg of his four-nation Asia tour that will also take him to South Korea and Japan.

Obama took a bow before holding hands with First Lady Michelle Obama to board the Air Force One to fly out of the Indian capital at 09:30 a.m.

India's Minister-in-Waiting Salman Khurshid, Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao and U.S. Ambassador to India Timothy Roemer were among those who saw off the American First Couple at the airport.

Obama and his wife, along with his entourage, flew into India on Saturday. They spent a night in Mumbai at the iconic Taj Hotel which was one of the targets of militants during the Mumbai terror attacks.

On Sunday, the U.S. First Couple flew into the Indian capital where they met Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, President Pratibha Patil and even addressed the Members of Indian Parliament.
