因为购买私人豪华公务飞机，并打算成立自己的航空公司，让各界对赵本山的“财力”倍感兴趣。

 

赵本山的二人转剧场已经形成连锁企业，到目前为止，北京等地的“刘老根大舞台”共9家，这也是他倾注最多心血的事业。

 

2008年时，尽管北京的分店还没开，其余8家“刘老根大舞台”以每场500人观看，平均票价50元，每年举办200场计算，一个剧场每年就能带来500万元的收入，而刘老根大舞台在全国总共有8家，平均一年总收入4000万。

 

辽宁省文化厅厅长郭兴文2月16日在沈阳披露：赵本山辽宁民间艺术团，2008年共演出2127场，演出收入9660万元，上缴利税1752万元，收入列全国演出团体之首。

 

赵本山近年来将很大一部分精力投入到电视剧的投资和拍摄上。一部电视剧收入五六千万不等。
