Speaking at a meeting, a leader mentioned an important and practical learning method when talking about the construction of a learning-oriented Communist Party of China (CPC). Learning is a process of constantly "charging" and "discharging."
Reading and learning are the most direct and the most effective ways of "charging." In the meantime, we should notice the fact that it is also a learning process by discovering new situations, thinking about new conditions, solving new problems, and summarizing new experiences. By doing so, "charging" and "discharging" are combined. CPC cadres should not be confined to theoretical learning and books, but learn knowledge during work and accumulate experience while putting theories into practice.
"Discharging" needs a platform. Actually, every role we play in society can serve as the "discharging" platform, whereby we can translate our thought into a meaningful action, a valuable suggestion, a novel idea and a method or system breaking away from convention. Among the roles we play, jobs are the most direct "discharging" platform. How to finish work in a timely fashion, and how to do our work in a broad and innovative manner, have a higher requirement for "discharging."
