Over the last decade, Internet use has soared [s?:] in our country. Some people think that Internet use will displace television viewing, radio listening, and newspaper reading. In my opinion, we should treat Internet from two aspects. First, it brings us a lot of convenience, such as Searching and skimming the latest information, sending e-mails, chatting online by using tools such as QQ, getting anecdotes and enjoying beautiful sceneries and styles of the world by only staying at home and so on. Even shopping online has become more and more popular. Somebody who has achieved a home-office by Internet can work at home freely. In short, Internet virtually meets all the needs involved in people's lives. On the other hand, the superabundant convenience which Internet provides with people makes people lose a lot. More and more persons involved in lawsuits because of plagiarism of others’ papers. Open and convenient Internet makes people become lazier and lazier, since only with a few mouse-clicks we can bear fruit, why should we try our own efforts? Contacting too much on the Internet makes fewer and fewer people stopping by with each other, happiness of meeting with families and friends also no longer exists. Internet users sit at home lazily, with less amount of activity pitifully, followed by a decline in eyesight and physical quality. Teenagers obtain negative information from some bad websites or indulge in online games all the day, so that they gradually lost themselves.
So I think we shouldn’t be over-reliance on Internet. Just take advantage of it properly, never be addicted to it. After all, it’s just a tool for us.
