Description of Research Efforts
Grid Computing is wide-area computing across multiple administrative domains. There are many issues that must be solved in order to deliver a "Grid Computing Infrastructure". The issues our research projects address include security, scheduling, programmability, and usability.
Current Projects
Design, Development, and Deployment of the Web Services Resource Framework (WSRF) on the .NET Framework (WSRF.NET) Design and Deployment of the University of Virginia Campus Grid (UVaCG) Enhancing Grid Security by Leveraging Authentication and Authorization Infrastructures (through a partnership with theSan Diego Supercomputing Center)Policy Management in Grids (Early Career Principal Investigator Program of theOffice of Science of US Department of Energy) Dependable Grids (NSF ITR)
