Have you ever wanted to increase your English vocabulary? As most learners agree, it's vital to know a lot of words if you want to make progress in a foreign language. Even if your grammar is excellent, you just won't be able to communicate your meaning without a wide vocabulary knowledge is one factor that determines reading comprehension. If you don't understand most of the words you read, you can't possibly comprehend the text as a whole. Many new learners of English learning have a common wrong concept that “Learning English needs to recite words.” At first, English learning is not to understand simply that the learning of words. We deem that: learning words is necessary part of learning English, but learning words should not be the only content, expecially, that ways to recite words automatically is not right.

Learning by heart, understanding and application are associated closely. It is a process to master a word or even a sentence. Memorize a word is not rote learning, we need to recite the signifiance of words, when applying, we can convey them in different ways and make people who look at can understand what I want to convey. Understanding is to understand the essence of the basic theory, to understand the difference between the same meaning words and the different meaning of a word. Application is to make use of the theories we learn and motheds to analyse and state the different phenomenen of English vacabulary. And we can use our own languages to reconstitute, reform and convey rightly the meaning of our statement. Through the three kinds of ways to learn vocabulory, we can clearly memorize the meaning of words and applied in daily life.
