　　whoa是西部牛仔经常说的话吗？没错，Cowboys say "whoa" when they want their horses to slow down. 当牛仔说whoa后，他们的马就会慢下来。 所以whoa的第一个意思就是：a command to stop 嘿，慢点。

　　例句：Whoa, don't put so much detergent into the washing machine! 慢点，别往洗衣机里倒太多的洗衣粉！
