The Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region decided to implement a plan to allow the open selection of cadres starting from the March of this year, according to the office overseeing the open selection of leading cadres.
The plan includes: open selection of 100 outstanding village Party secretaries from the grass-roots to hold a post in the township, open selection of 30 outstanding community Party secretaries to hold a post in street leadership, open selection of 100 outstanding township (street) Party secretaries to hold a post at the deputy-director level in district and municipal institutions.
The plan will also include selection of leadership for 200 village and town civil service organization from outstanding village cadres by testing, open selection of more than 300 working organizers of Party-building in city and streets and open selection of 376 industrialization and urbanization talents nationwide. A total of more than 1,100 people will be selected according to this plan.
