神马文学网Medical device maker Edan gets $10m VC

Edan Instruments, a Chinese medical device developer and manufacturer, has received $10 million in venture capital funding from SB China Venture Capital, Matrix Partners China and WI Harper Group. Edan chairman and CEO Zhang Hao said the world-class venture investors' experience in healthcare management would help the company grow in a sound way and do good to China's healthcare reform. SB China chief partner Hua Ping labeled Edan as one of China's best medical equipment makers. Edan Instruments was founded in Shenzhen, Guangdong province in 1995 and currently employs over 500 people. It produces more than 20 categories of products with a focus on cardiovascular-related devices.
