日本人如今是这样看天价艺术品的

　　曾几何时，日本有过令人眩目的“泡沫经济”。那个时候，一路攀升的资产价格不仅仅局限于“两市”——股市和楼市，还蔓延到艺术品等“看涨”的奢侈品价格上。

　　那个时候，经济繁荣的日本人把腰包鼓起来的激情与自信洒向梵·高、莫奈、雷诺瓦等西方一流艺术大师。有这样的估计，在1987年到1990年间，国际拍卖会上40%的西方印象派作品都落入了日本买家的手中。这4年间，日本竟然从西方进口了138亿美元的艺术品。我们中国人知道“房奴”、“车奴”，甚至也知道“墓奴”，但很少有人会知道这个世界上还有“画奴”。在20世纪80年代晚期，日本的银行大力鼓动客户贷款购买艺术品。银行家们高调宣传，称西方艺术品是绝佳升值的收藏。这样，许多日本企业和商人花大价钱购买画作。著名的安田火灾和海事保险公司买下了梵·高的《向日葵》，付出了3900万美元。大昭和纸业公司董事长齐藤良平在1990年5月15日更是挥金如土般地花1.606亿美元收购了雷诺阿和梵·高的两幅画，其中雷诺阿那幅7810万美元，梵·高的《加歇医生像》8250万美元，创下油画交易史上的最高价。

　　一位日本企业老板这样说，在当时“经济鼎盛”的背景下，一旦形成“化合物”，由此释放出来的“基于对未来充满美好希望”的投资心理和投机能量是任何人都无法抵挡的。这也就是说，当时，日本企业家和商购买天价艺术品的真正动因是为了投资。

　　最近，正在准备回国的一位华人艺术家告诉我，大约20年前，自己的一幅画作在日本至少可以卖到1000万日元以上。那时，还经常碰到一些日本企业家来打听有没有办法可以搞到名人的画作，张嘴就说“如果是真品的话，出个天价都可以”。随着“泡沫经济”的崩溃，价格也逐渐跌落下来。现在自己的画作一幅顶多卖出100万日元。从来在市场不喜欢讨价还价的日本人，如今在买画作的时候会主动地讨价还价，尽量把画作的价格压得低些、再低些。至于名人的画作，你就是送上门去，日本企业家都不会买了。

　　据日本画商最乐观的估计，当年以50亿美元购入现仍保存于日本各银行手中的画作如今最多能卖出14亿美元。这个买卖，赔本赔大了。日本《东洋经济》周刊透露，当年随着梵·高的《向日葵》、《鸢尾花》和《加歇医生肖像》被买下，大量三四流印象派作品同时流入日本。“泡沫经济”破灭后，这些当初高价买来的作品，如今降到半价都难以出售，日本银行的地下仓库里面已经堆满了抵债的画作。看来，画作这玩艺儿，说值钱的时候，价值连城；说不值钱的时候，连一张手纸都不如！

　　由此可见，日本人“泡沫经济”时期在艺术品方面的投资除了产生一个“轰动效应”以外别无他果。所以，今天日本人对天价艺术品除了觉得伤心、伤时以外，已经没有什么感觉了。

　　据说，中国国内目前对天价艺术品好像有了一种“需求”。也好，有日本这个“前车之鉴”，中国人可能会少走些弯路的。（写于2010年6月25日晚）■
