1 范围

本 标 准 规定了变质岩的分类依据和原则,制定了变质岩岩石分类和命名方案。

本标 准 适 用于地质勘查中的变质岩岩石鉴定,也适用于地质教学和科学研究工作。

2 术语定义

本 标 准 采用下列定义。

2.1 变质作用metamorphism

地 壳 中 原来已存在的岩石,由于受到构造运动,岩浆活动或地壳内热流变化等内力的影响以及陨石

冲击的瞬时热动力作用等.使岩石在固态(或基本保持固态)情况下发生矿物成分、结构、构造甚至化学

成分的变化,这些变化总称为变质作用。根据变质作用的主要因素和地质条件,可将变质作用分为区域

变质作用、动力变质作用、接触变质作用、气一液变质作用、混合岩化作用等。

2.2 变质岩metamorphic rock

在 变 质 作用条件下,使地壳中已经存在的岩石(可以是火成岩、沉积岩及早已形成的变质岩)变成具

有新的矿物组合及结构、构造等特征的岩石,称为变质岩。

2.3 特征变质矿物characteristic metamorphic mineral

指变 质 作 用过程中形成的稳定范围较窄,能够指示特定的温度、压力条件(有时还可指示原岩成分)

的变质矿物。例如:云母片岩中出现十字石或蓝晶石,表明其是由粘土质岩石经中级区域变质作用所形

成,所以十字石、蓝晶石称为特征变质矿物。

2.4 变余结构、构造palimpsest texture and structure

指变 质 岩 中,由于变质结晶作用不彻底,仍保留有原岩的结构和构造。例如:变余辉绿结构,变余砂

状结构,变余层理构造等。

2.5 变晶结构crystalloblastic texture

变 晶 结 构是原有岩石经变质作用在固态下重结晶形成的晶质结构,是指岩石中矿物变晶粒度的相

对大小、自形程度,矿物变晶的形态以及被此间的交生关系等特征。例如:等粒变晶结构,鳞片粒状变晶

结构,包含变晶结构等。
