如果“etc.”在句末时，要看两种情况：如果它后面没有句子了（即整段结束），则可省一个句点；如果它后面还有句子，则要加一个句点进行断句。
再将之前举的两个例子抄下来：
Synchronize with related HR database and have similar data format with it, for example, personnel information like department/section, work shift, etc. （“etc.”后面没有句子了，可省一个句点）
The system interface enables all kinds of transactions including fresh tickets, lost tickets, group ticketing, cancellation, partial cancellations, etc.. For internet transactions, payment will be only through credit or debit cards, while cash will be accepted at the KSRTC and its authorised counters, the minister said. （“etc.”后面还有句子，则加一个句点进行断句）
以前也不明白，收集了不少例句才搞清楚的。
