职位描述/要求：
PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The candidate will be responsible to manage hosting
environment for customers, and also providing support for
customers.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor‘s Degree, major in computer science preferred.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with shell scripting and at least one scripting language
- Good knowledge of internet architectural and common application protocols.
- In depth knowledge of Unix or its variants.
- Strong customer service focused, enjoys interfacing with customers if required.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English
- Highly motivated and proactive
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
The team will be setting up the computing infrastructure to prepare
for next generation of SAP product for midsized enterprise, and
afterwards be responsible for maintaining the hosted computing
environment for live customers, while continue improving internal
workflow and develop/optimize supporting tools.
- setup initial computing infrastructure, build system images for
automated system installation
- monitor live computer systems and provide timely troubleshooting
and technical support to eliminate problems and possible system
outages.
- involvement in tools development to automate system build
process.
- continuous tools improvement by incorporating features with
tighter SAP system integration in backend.
- Customer communication in case of incidents/maintainence
communication.
- Product beta-testing and communicate with develop team on gap
analysis and improvement suggestions.
- High level of flexibility to adopt new technology/new business
requirement.
- Maintains one‘s own professional development and presentation
skills; including continuous learning of new SAP
products/technologies, and communicating experiences and
solutions to fellow colleagues.
- Strong willingness to learn new solutions and new business area
- Highly motivated and proactive
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in Unix or Unix alike operating
environment.
- Experience in IT system administration/service preferred, hosting
background preferred
- Experience with customer service workflow preferred.
- Experience with Java development and at least one scripting
language, knowledge of ABAP will be a plus.
- Recent College graduates with less experience will also be
considered if can demonstrate strong understanding/knowledge of
Unix or variant operating system like Linux/BSD
- Prior experience of SAP products will be a plus.
